Saturday February 27, members of Unity Church of Clare participated in the 19th Annual Walk for Warmth fund raiser sponsored by Mid-Michigan Community Action Agency and many local businesses. The enthusiastic crowd made up of students, church members, volunteers and other community residents, raised nearly $6000 for their efforts.

This is the first time members of Unity of Clare Walked for Warmth since moving their church from Farwell to the city of Clare.

“We have participated in Walk for Warmth for several years but this year we are walking as residents of the City of Clare. We have purchased the building on 6th Street and are delighted to be at this location.”

As part of their Share the Bounty Program, UCC demonstrates a strong sense of community involvement by donating to a different community organization each month. Many people, pets, and situations have benefitted from their generosity over the years.

Unity is a positive practical approach to Christianity that honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual’s right to choose a spiritual path. Unity of Clare is located at 215 W. 6th Street in Clare MI and can be contacted at 989-426-2761 or on the web: www.unityofclare.org
